Ian Love has recorded and toured with bands for over 20 years. As a guitarist, vocalist and song writer with Rival Schools, he recorded two albums, (Island/Def Jam and Atlantic), touring the world headlining and playing festivals like Lollapalooza, Reading, Leeds, Glastonbury, Soundwaves, Summer Sonic and more, performing at legendary venues Brixton Academy and Radio City Music Hall. Burn, Die 116, Jonah Matranga of FAR, Gabby Glaser of Luscious Jackson, and Atlantic Pacific are just a few of the other groups he has played, written, produced and toured with. He's fronted his own group, Cardia, as well released a solo album under his own name, both were licensed for various spots and received great reviews.
Always a knowledgeable gear head with an interest in recording, he has operated his own recording facility for many years in Brooklyn NY, recording, producing, mixing and remixing for known artists, as well as young new talent. With guitar as his main instrument, a great sense of pitch, he’s capable on almost any instument.
In recent years, he’s been composing music for film, TV commercials and shows. As well he has been building a vast library of songs that have been used by a number of music supervisors for various spots. It’s not unlikely to hear his work on TV shows, 16 & Pregnant, Teen Mom 1 and 2, The Shield, T.O. Show, There And Back, Ashley Parker Angel, Watch Over Me, Starting Strong, Ridiculousness, and many more.
Sam Siegler is a third generation musician. As a native New Yorker, exposed to an array of musical styles, he connected with the Punk/Hardcore scene in the mid 80's, honing his skills on drums with influential bands Gorilla Biscuits, Youth Of Today, Judge, Shelter, Side By Side, and Project X. His band CIV in the mid 90's would turn out to be his first major label (Lava/Atlantic) release. They had a hit with “Can't Wait One Minute More”, which was a buzz clip on MTV. CIV released two albums and toured the world including a show at Madison Square Garden with KISS. They had success licensing many of their songs, including a long running TV ad for Nissan. Siegler saw the world again playing with his band Rival Schools (Island/Def Jam), who had two songs chart in the UK.
These years were sprinkled with various musical endeavors. Siegler played on the first Glassjaw record, filled in on drums for Patti Smith, Lost Prophets and Head Automatica. He made albums with Gabby Glaser of Luscious Jackson, A Static Lullaby, Nightmare Of You and Limp Bizkit.
Siegler was a founding partner in an indie record label called Some Records, with over 40 releases these albums were often met with critics praises. He has produced, done remixes, DJed special events and acted as a music consultant for fashion companies; music has always been an integral part in his life.
